The 2009 Annual Edition Star / Snowflake Christmas Ornament, designed by Elke Kumar, is 3 3/16" in diameter and features eight long extensions. 

The clear faceted crystal star has a metal tag with the year 2009, and a blue ribbon for hanging on the tree or an ornament display.

A Golden Shadow colored version of this ornament was issued as the first in an ongoing series of SCS member-exclusive annual edition ornaments.

It comes complete with its original inner box and outer sleeve and COA.
